I don't think someone who has spent thousands of dollars with NCL to earn over 250 latitudes points or more in any cabin they choose is lower class, same for CAS VIP's.

Just to clarify: to achieve Platinum status you only need 76 latitudes points.

Lower class people? I am talking about loyalty to NCL. I don't think someone who has spent thousands of dollars with NCL to earn over 250 latitudes points or more in any cabin they choose is lower class, same for CAS VIP's.

Otherwise ok, but one only needs 76 points in order to become a Platinum. That's only two early booked 14-night cruises in suites, or even less with special promotions such as Latitudes specials.

Just jumping in here with the whole "lower class" issue. I don't think one can conclude that people who do not book suites are of a lower class. Let's face it - some of us travel multiple times a year. I know for us, we are on vacation every couple of months, cruises or otherwise; suites or otherwise. Second, some of us do not care to be aorund folks who think their feces don't stink  Third - some of us "pretend" we have money by either booking higher priced staterooms, or claiming we book higher priced staterooms. Point is, no one knows anyone's financial status ... and I have found over the years that those who claim to be "rich", or try to appear to be of a higher "class", are often those who are spending well beyond their means ... just an observation.

Carry on.

I'm only have 96 latitude points. But I think NCL needs to have a platinum plus for their loyal customers who hit a milestone make it 500 or 1000 latitudes points if that makes more sense.

Don't get me wrong the platinum benefits are great! the free laundry bag and Le bistro. Even if they still charge the fee for Vibes passes I think the NCL loyalist would be happy to pay it, and so would CAS VIP cruisers.

Love this - a debate could arise as to whether the fur is real fur or faux fur (same could be true of the sun tan:rolleyes:)...

Still though, you have those of us that cruise multiple time a year in suites and felt that this devalued the suite (and CAS from what I read here) product. DW and I cruise roughly every 4 to 6 months, and usually in a suite. When we pay what we do, we don't want someone else paying $99 to have even some of those benefits. If you want VIP treatment, pay to sail in a suite, or pay to cruise enough until you hit platinum.

Again! The VIP99 perks offered were a tiny fraction of the suite perks. Not even close.

This thread is going in circles.

I agree with you 100%. Truth be known, there are probably a number of VIP's on each ship anyway that no one knows about and it doesn't ruin it for anyone.

The amount of perks that were included in the package and the amount of VIPs on any given cruise have nothing to to with each other whatsoever.

Did you read my post? That has nothing to do with suite guest. They do not need Vibe passes nor should they be offered them. Considering they board the ships first they would be getting most of the passes.

I have sailed on ships with the haven in suites and found no reason to get a vibe pass but others do for some reason.

Maybe YOU'RE out of control :)

Not only did you misread and twist my post into something it was not. You also managed to insult me and made it a class issue.

I come on CC to give and get advice not to have my post twisted by you. You are entitled to your opinion, but if you're going to be rude please do not respond to any of my post I will not stand for personal attacks, as shown below:

The same with the $99 deal. IMO..... NCL will start to lose CAS cruisers and their loyal platinum cruisers.

This has nothing to do with haven and suite guest they are getting what they pay for and it's great.

And here is your post:

Now the vibe only for suite guest? Your out of control. Suite guests already have access to a private pool area. You gotta leave something for the "lower class" people. Sheesh

The point I was making was that perks were being offered for sail at $99.00 and are given away to some VIP's at no cost. There was a thread about VIP's back in May and at least one poster stated that they were not in a suite and that when they got to their cabin they were notified that they were VIP's. The VIP perks described in thread back in May were strikingly similar to the perks that were being offered for $99.00. The hotel director still has discretion to give VIP status to any guest whether they are in a suite or not. If such perks are given to randomly selected VIP's you may already be eating breakfast or lunch with someone in Cagneys who didn't pay for the privilege or earn it but were simply lucky recipients of the VIP fairy. What you don't know won't hurt you.

Right I have read that some who run their meet and greets get VIP. Not all but some.

Football parent needs to worry about herself being the one who looks down at people.

Excuse me? Who am I looking down to? Please tell me? Very curious. And talking about a personal attack that sure sounded like one to me. I am booked in a balcony #1 and on the following cruise a suite so I really am not sure what you are talking about I have NEVER even sounded remotely like I was looking down on anyone so you need to rethink your comment.

Now I'm the one being "attacked" from you and another poster
