gliles Posted September 27, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2014 Doing a 7-nighter on NOS in November, which night might we see lobster? My husband is making me ask because he wants to do a few specialties and is a planner. I assume it's one of the formal nights which we love since we rarely dress up at home...Personally I hate to do the specialties because I am afraid I am gonna miss something in the MDR. Stupid I know. Like a kid not wanting to go to bed :o 09-Nov Galveston, Texas 4:30 PM 10-Nov Cruising Cruising 11-Nov Cozumel, Mexico 8:00 AM 4:00 PM Docked 12-Nov George Town, Grand Cayman 10:30 AM 6:00 PM Tendered 13-Nov Falmouth, Jamaica 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Docked 14-Nov Cruising Cruising 15-Nov Cruising Cruising 16-Nov Galveston, Texas 7:00 AM Thanks in advance! To be Honest it is hard to call. I would say 14th. of Nov. You could always ask the waiter on the first night.
Langley Cruisers Posted September 27, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 27, 2014 It will be the second formal night; I would also say it will be your Sea Day, Nov.14 (Day 6).

matj2000 Posted September 27, 2014 #8 Share Posted September 27, 2014 Cruise ship lobster is very amateur. Stick with the lamb....
Sunflower&Scientist Posted September 27, 2014 #9 Share Posted September 27, 2014 I order it because it feels like the right thing to do...there's lobster I should eat it. Hopefully someone will stop me next time. It's not horrible, but it's not good.
websiteauthor Posted September 27, 2014 #10 Share Posted September 27, 2014 The formal night will probably be Friday night. If you want to do one of the specialty restaurants, Thursday would be my recommendation. I can't remember what was on the menu that night, but I do recall not being impressed with it. I thought the lobster was just fine - I got a lobster tail and steak and loved it. The tails are small, so I'd suggest getting more than one.
