On our March Granduer cruise there were machines that always gave double points. They had signs on them. So, there were morning double points, late night double point and on some machines always double points.

Does that mean those machines get quadruple points during double point hours then:confused: easy way to rack up Mickey Mouse points if they do:D

The reason I Asked you was you said you played 2-3 hours in the Evening (no nightlife) most ships have evening double points hours which was why I thought you may have fallen in those hours. Now you are saying you played in the afternoon.:confused:

I got a CR rate + free tax & port fees + 1000. Cruise cert. I think the cert is combinable with just about anything.

Agree from what I Have heard you are correct that the CR rate and cert are combinable. However not been able to get any free tax or port fees?

I have no idea. When I asked my "real" point balance I was told that "the system runs behind". I gave up after earning the $500 certificate but for all I know I was only a few points away from the $750 certificate.

I will get the photo developed of the cruise thing. It specifically says 2400=500. 3600= 750.

It's not immaturity. It's the fact your calling out something that literally was just an early call.

 

I inserted my card. Saw 2400 or whatever and went looking for the host. Not there.

 

I have OCD and plan to the T. I had a fully paid Carnival cruise booked for July with my sister. I called and cancelled that while waiting for host. (lost deposit).

Now my anxiety kicks in. Crap. I have nothing planned. How does this cert work. What do I do. I'll post on cruise critic. It was the wrong amount. I made a post before I knew the amount. My bad.

 

What's immature is that you can't stop and think for a second. That one, you're out of line. People make mistakes. I came to this post because that's what I was told. Two, you can't stop to think oh crap I might be wrong. Three, your judgemental tone as if to say I'm wrong. Not possible.

It may sometimes appear a bit harsh when reading. but I don't believe it was not written in that tone. Reading versus hearing can come across completely different. Trust me - be there done that. :o

I definitely realized that after that fact. But at that point was past aggravating because everything I said was wrong. Double points are listed. Yes they are. There was a sign on the machine. Then someone writes. They don't say what machines just a time. No incorrect I saw the signs. Someone else writes they were on the same ship and saw the signs. Then they write back it must of changed. No shet!! That's what I said.

 

But water under the bridge. I learned a lot by reading and trying not to put a tone to the text

Healthy debate, and if I am wrong I will admit it:)

 

You will learn quickly that CR related topics are quite passionate as a lot of us have "invested" a lot of time and money into the CR VIP program over the years and are dumbfounded really how the rollout of this New Program has been handled.

We no change is coming, but just don't know when or what is coming with 100% credibility.

 

Once there is 100% transparency on the Real point system and the New tier levels all will be peachy And that is a peach;)

They must all be different as mine that I received on the Indy is different then the above one, I can't use it so it was pretty much useless to me with having to use it by September 1.

 

The new program kind of sucks - I only just got into the VIP program just before they announced there would be changes so I was able to use one rebate and then they cancelled those.

 

On the bright side they still seem to be offering good discounts for casino fares, so that helps.

 

I really wanted to go on the golf event cruise in October but they said the event was sold out.
