Casino Program Changes

Recommended Posts

I won $1300 in January and $5,000 in April, and they wouldn't give me the money until I gave them my SS # and signed a form. I even had to go up to my cabin for photo ID before they would give it to me.

WE were told there that as of May 1st, no more cash given on board. We just got off the Anthem of the Seas and checked with the Casino Royale host the last night. It appears you get a free cruise based on the amount you spent and or lost. The more you spend the better the room and longer the cruise you are offered in the future. We All ready had a free 3 day cruise in a Junior Suite out of Canaveral on August 26th - Hurricane season - and was given an envelope "You won a Free cruise" on board Anthem with about 20 cruises, Ocean View Stateroom, that wee could take for free. That was based on what we played on that cruise 5/14 - 5/21. Or, you can use the code for a $750 credit towards your room on any cruise BEFORE 1/01/17. Hope that helps

When using the certificate, does CR have a record of you having the certificate or do you have to email them a copy when making a reservation?

It's easier if you have it but they can look it up. I lost mine and when booking they had to look it up and verify it which took 24 hours.

I was also just on 2 different Anthem cruises, and got certificates on both.

Casino Royale knew my certificate numbers, I didn't have to give it to them at all.

For each one of them, I had an already booked cruise adjusted with the certificate amount. However, I don't use a TA - my cruises were all booked thru CR.

I am wondering how many points you had earned in order to get the free cruise, we will be on Anthem in October. In another thread I was reading, it was commented that when the casino has double points times that doesn't count in your original points count, can you confirm this? Thanks ;)

I am pretty sure they don't use the points on the machine. I think it comes down to cash. How much did you spend, win then lose. That is what counts. You put in $100, work that up to $600 then give it all back, then you lost $700. Our trip on the Anthem was free for an inside stateroom and paid $500 to upgrade to an Ocean Balcony. When I talk to the Casino Royale reservation agents they tend to shy away on telling you the bottom line.Maybe some of the high rollers have a better handle on that. We earned a free trip on the Allure last April to St. Thomas and St. Martin. It came down to money in and some lucky hits. You don't get much credit at the tables unless you play $50 or above for a total of several hours over your cruise.

Thanks and congrats on Pinnacle!!! When's your next cruise?

Thank you. Our next is on Anthem, B2B, Oct 15 & 20, plus holding a few certificates, so may squeeze in one more before October. According to your schedule of cruises, I see your available in the month of October. CR is having their annual Golf Event, 5 Night sailing to Bermuda, October 15. Prices are good and your put into their group booking, could be free for some.

No need to play golf, but if you want to play, it's a fun event played on a PGA course. CR goes above and beyond for these events. It would be great to see you guys again, along with Marc and Maryjaden :) They have 2 Roulette tables for you Nick :)

Enjoy all your cruises!

Our next is on Anthem...

I may have to see about picking your brain about Anthem of the Seas after you get back. I'm planning a small group cruise for some friends on Anthem for Halloween 2017. Although I hadn't been impressed by the Quantum class when it was first revealed, much of what I'm seeing about Anthem of the Seas is really winning me over and I'm already looking forward to that cruise.

It would be great to cruise with all of you again! I hope our paths cross in the future.

Has anyone been successful applying a certificate to an already booked cruise when using a travel agent? Would love to do be able to do this.

I strictly use CR to book my cruises. Prior, I have used a TA and had to call CR to give them name of TA and permission for CR to speak to my TA. Call CR, they'll tell you the process.

Double points on slots do not count, which is correct. For slot players, these are the points needed for a free cruise, if less than 2400 points, you may get a dollar amount off a cruise.

2400 points free inside room

3600 points free oceanview room

4800 points free balcony

Slots or Tables, the casino has some kind of a theoretical formula which is based on money won, money lost and time spent gambling. No one knows the formula but RCI.

I would love to go. Right now I could book for a comp balcony. My husband and I are going on Adventure out of San Juan in November. I am trying to arrange my schedule to go on the golf outing. I am a terrible golfer, but love the game. Not bad on chips and putts, but my drive leaves a lot to be desired.

I had such a good time on our last sailing with you, I think this would be a blast.

We need to go for a few lessons, our handicap is high , but, it's a fun event including the cocktail party and the awards ceremony.

I really wish I could go. Didnt get this one comped but biggest factors are too many cruises booked already and now I'm working at Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights event this year, so no cruises in Sept or Oct....

A few weeks ago when talking to CR they told me just FYI the group for the golf tourn is now closed. There maybe an exception for someone who got a comp offer but I'm not sure.

Marc- Anthem is fabulous. It's our favorite ship...anything less than 7 nights though is a tease and you don't really get to experience all the features, restaurants, etc.

We're going on Harmony 9/16/17. That has a lot of Anthem flavor in the ships interior.
