Hampton Inn in Cocoa?

We stayed at the Hampton Inn last August and the hotel was ok. The breakfast area has been updated, as has the lobby, but we found our room to be very tired. This hotel has outdoor corridors which we don't like. The room had a musty, old hotel smell. The bathroom was very dated but clean. Bed was fine, balcony needed a good cleaning.

We stayed there on points because our first choice, Residence Inn, did not have anymore rewards rooms available. For a one night stay it was adequate but would try something different in the future. We did not do their park and stay package. We also did not use their shuttle since we had a rental car but we did see people lining up very early (9am) for the shuttle. Not sure how they handled reservations for it but the lobby was already packed with people waiting for it when we came down for breakfast.

Just stayed there last weekend before our cruise. They are in the process of renovating and we got a "new" room on the top floor with a great view. We used the 40% off coupon and parked at the port so we could just debark and head right home. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.

Haven't stayed there, but we found a great pizza/Italian restaurant in Cocoa Beach called Papa Vito's. Can't wait to go back! Reasonable prices and great food!

It is good, can hardly finish a $3 slice. :o

OK - spill the beans - where did you get the 40% off coupon!!!!???? That's an excellent discount - was it for the cruise terminal parking, or for off site parking?

It will be for 40% off parking at the port and it is issued by the hotel where you book your stay.

I believe there are several motels in the area that offer the same thing. Hopefully someone will post the link on which ones.....

Happy sailing!!!

It's one of the park and cruise packages offered on the hotel website. It was for the cruise terminal parking. You get the coupon when you check in the hotel and then give it to the parking attendant upon entering the cruise terminal parking lot. We were happy with it!
