EdmondDantes Posted November 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2014 Hello all, Will be on the Adventure next week, and was wondering where our table will be located in the Vivaldi dining room. We have been on a few cruises but have never had a table near the windows with RCI. Had it with Disney and Carnival, and the kids seemed to be in less of a hurry to eat and run with window seats. I have a table number, just don't know where that table is located. Is there a map anywhere that shows the table numbers? Many thanks Paul

sellwingri Posted November 19, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 19, 2014 When you board, go to the dining room and find your table. That way you'll be able to go right to it at dinner rather than waiting for your escort. If you find that the location isn't to your liking, see whoever is taking dinner change requests and let them know your displeasure.
Rare BillOh Posted November 19, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 19, 2014 The table numbers change weekly or at least often. A lesson we learned the hard wa. We walked though the dining room after boarding found our table (table for 8) on Jewel in 2012 I think it was. Bypassed all the people who were waiting to be shown to their table and found a smaler table already filled and a different number. The waiter told me there were 6 people in wheel chairs on that cruise and 5 of them had late dining so they re arranged things to have more aisles and seats with locations that had ample room. mtpoconopat Posted January 24, 2015 #5 Share Posted January 24, 2015 We are cruising AOS in may and was wondering if there is seating for 12 at the mdr or do we need to request it early
tserface Posted January 24, 2015 #6 Share Posted January 24, 2015 I think there are very few tables that large so it wouldn't hurt to try to reserve it ahead of time. You can always go to the MDR on the first day and ask as well, but it may be too late by then. If you are doing My Time dining you would especially want to work ahead on it. Rare orville99 Posted January 24, 2015 #7 Share Posted January 24, 2015 When you get on board and find your table (or even if you don't), ask the Maitre D' to change your assignment to a window table.
