Clarea Posted December 17, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 17, 2014 Royal has also eliminated the corkage fees, so you can bring the wine anywhere on the ship with no extra charges.
Folk Singer Posted December 17, 2014 #4 Share Posted December 17, 2014 Can one still bring two bottles of wine on board? Thanks! 1 per person per stateroom and this depends on the age of the Cruiser.

gerif Posted December 17, 2014 #6 Share Posted December 17, 2014 1 per person per stateroom and this depends on the age of the Cruiser. No, two per cabin regardless of how many adults are booked in it (e.g., even if there are four adults booked in the cabin, still only two bottles of wine - but a single may have two as well). Ken at the beach Posted December 17, 2014 #7 Share Posted December 17, 2014 Guests are not allowed to bring beer, hard liquor, fortified wines or non-alcoholic beverages onboard for consumption or any other use on boarding day or while in port. Alcoholic beverages seized on boarding day will not be returned. Guests wishing to bring personal wine and champagne onboard may do so only on boarding day, limited to two (2) 750 ml bottles per stateroom. Additional bottles of wine beyond two (2) bottles that are brought onboard or any alcoholic beverages purchased in ports of call or from Shops On Board will be stored by the ship and delivered to your stateroom on the last day of the sailing. Security may inspect containers (water bottles, soda bottles, mouthwash, luggage etc.) and will dispose of containers holding alcohol. Guests who violate any alcohol policies, (over consume, provide alcohol to people under age 21, demonstrate irresponsible behavior, or attempt to conceal alcoholic items at security and or luggage check points or any other time), may be disembarked or not allowed to board, at their own expense, in accordance with our Guest Conduct Policy. Guests who are under the permitted drinking age will not have alcohol returned to them.
Rare Lionesss Posted December 17, 2014 #8 Share Posted December 17, 2014 On the Allure, they did not check the "volume' in the bottle, just acknowledged 2 bottles. (They were in our carryon and showed up on the screening x-ray). Enjoy Sea Ya
Justmekaren918 Posted December 17, 2014 #9 Share Posted December 17, 2014 Need to be carried in carry-on as well as a 6pk of water or soda, cases of water should be sent with luggage with luggage tags on it. Happy Cruise.
spookwife Posted December 17, 2014 #10 Share Posted December 17, 2014 1 per person per stateroom and this depends on the age of the Cruiser. NO. it is 2 bottles per stateroom, no matter how many legal adults are in the cabin.
JTBCruiser Posted December 17, 2014 #11 Share Posted December 17, 2014 Yes. You are allowed two 750ml bottles per cabin. Are you allowed to bring a box of wine on board as long as it doesn't exceed 1500ml?
Clarea Posted December 17, 2014 #12 Share Posted December 17, 2014 Are you allowed to bring a box of wine on board as long as it doesn't exceed 1500ml? No, just two bottles, each no more than 750ml.
KCMiller Posted December 17, 2014 #13 Share Posted December 17, 2014 I was wondering about this too, but I found wording on their website that specifically excludes boxes of wine. Which is too bad, because they're much easier to pack. KC
mets07 Posted December 17, 2014 #14 Share Posted December 17, 2014 KC, if you want, search for "wine skin" (bubble wrap type) in Google ... we have purchased pack of 2 for about $5 in large wine retail store. We have had success with these packed in our luggage. Some people prefer to buy their two bottles in the port city before embarkation.

Happy Cruise. While it is best to carry on to avoid a visit to the naughty room, it's not mandatory. Beware that several ports will not accept a case of water with luggage tags and you need to carry it on yourself, so be prepared (although, technically, they do not have to let you take water or soda).
