We will be sailing on the Quantum during the Super Bowl and just wondering if we will be able to watch the game live in our stateroom or if the game will be available only at certain venues onboard.

We're on the same cruise. We sailed on the Explorer several years ago and they showed the game, minus commercials, in several venues, including the theatre where the served lots of "game" food, i.e. wings, pizza, etc. Lots of fun. The Patriots were playing and our friend stayed while the rest of, including his wife, left him there and went to dinner.

I definitely agree that it will be too cold to watch it on the outdoor screen but I'm wondering if we will be able to watch it in our stateroom or will it be available only at public venues

We were on the Explorer a few years ago. They had a big Super Bowl party in the ice skating rink, of all places. The rink was covered so you could walk on it. Of course the game was shown on the big screens and there was a buffet with typical game day food - hot dogs, wings, nachos, etc.

Because the half time show was blacked out on the satellite feed, RCI had their own show with a performance by the "Blues Brothers".

The only thing missing was the commercials!

Quantum should have various venues showing The Super Bowl game. Two70 would be nice, but it only holds 540 guests, they'll need more seating. They can add the Royal Theater which holds 1300 guests and add in the Music Hall for viewing, another 559 guests.

IMO, the game may not be broadcast for viewing in the cabins, it'll be a very profitable day for alcohol sales.

Go Cowboys!!

On all their other ships the game has always been available on the stateroom TVS in addition to the TVs in the various lounges and venues. No reason to believe that it will be any different on Quantum. When we saw the Super Bowl on Jewel of the Seas a few years ago, the game broadcast included all of the national commercials (only the local drop-in commercials were blacked out).
