DSavard Posted December 22, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 22, 2014 I have heard Princess will discount the package by one day if both passengers purchase the package and the cruise is 10 days or longer. Can anyone confirm this?

Working 2 Cruise Posted December 22, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 22, 2014 Don't believe everything you hear. Yet another unfounded rumor.

fishywood Posted December 23, 2014 #5 Share Posted December 23, 2014 (edited) The OP previously started this thread asking if those with the drinks package can book the Winemakers Dinner at a "without wine" price and then order their own drinks from the package. Obsessing about cutting corners is no way to enjoy a vacation. Whether or not you take the drink package, or attend the Winemakers Dinner, I hope you have a good time either way. (Even though according to your countdown clock your cruise is eight years away ) Edited December 23, 2014 by fishywood

wineforhealth Posted December 23, 2014 #8 Share Posted December 23, 2014 On our 12 day cruise in October you were given 12 days for the price of 11. This was on the Ruby

I am sure I will find other places on the ship to spend it. PS: I wii updated my clock I am nor sure why that is like that. I leave on the Royal next month. Cruise #10!!! mmckm Posted December 23, 2014 #11 Share Posted December 23, 2014 (edited) On our last cruise on the ruby they had the deal if both people in the cabin bought the package you only paid for 6 days on a 7 day cruise. lljost Posted December 23, 2014 #12 Share Posted December 23, 2014 This was offered on the Grand to Mexico over Halloween. On embarkation day, my DH and I purchased the drinks package and were told about this offer. We were going to purchase it anway, but for a 10 day cruise, we were charged for 9. We are hoping this will be offered on the Emerald for our January/February cruises.

Rare luvseaside Posted December 23, 2014 #16 Share Posted December 23, 2014 I've also heard the discount mentioned in other posts. It has certainly helped us to decide not to pre-purchase the package before our cruise. If we get offered the discount when we board, then great! If not, we were going to purchase anyway. mph045 Posted December 23, 2014 #17 Share Posted December 23, 2014 (edited) I read the Royal Princess offered on the embark day -one day costs off[$100] if you purchased a ultimate drink card[$49/pp/+tax] for yourself plus your cabin mate[2 total] this was for I believe the 14day cruise. mmckm Posted December 24, 2014 #18 Share Posted December 24, 2014 We were on the Ruby in nov. on a B2B and bought the package both weeks. The second week was purchased at the start of the second week. We received $100 off each weeks package for a 2 days saving. They just put a new sticker on the card for the second week. CCFC Posted December 24, 2014 #19 Share Posted December 24, 2014 We were on the Grand last month and got a free day, paid for 14 days and got 15. Both of us in the cabin had to buy it at the same time.
