We will be docking at Los Angeles Pier at 7:00 AM. We are self-disembark. We need to go to LAX. I have flight options of 12:45 and 5:15. We would prefer the earlier, but would we have enough time, probably by taxi? We are a little bit gun-shy--our Sept. docking at NYC, our reserved car service (Dial 7) didn't show, we were last in the cab line, and barely made it. Thanks for anything; we don't know LA.

The cruiseline usually has a recommended "book no earlier than ..." time for each cruise/port.

I would think you could easily do 12:45 PM

A cab would be the quickest or try Execucar--a divison of Supershuttle for a private transfer--it has two options--one where the driver is waiting with a sign with your name ($76) or one where you call when you are ready to be picked up ($55). Those are the rates for a vehicle that will hold up to four people.

I would go with 12:45 PM.

I would look into a private car. Price isn't that much different than a cab.

The one I use is execucar.

They are a subsidiary of super shuttle.

Web site is http://www.execucar.com

I make pickup for 9:30 AM and if there are any issues I call them that morning.

Just have your cell phone with you.

Of course you could take a cab too.
