Silhouette: Which pier in San Juan?

Has anyone been on the Eastern Caribbean itinerary that docked in San Juan? If so, which pier did it dock at? PanAmerican or near Old San Juan?

I have been to both. Celebrity ships have always docked in Old San Juan when it was a port of call. As a port of departure we left from the commercial dock.

Boscobeans is correct. Old San Juan for port of call and the commercial dock for embarkation. Enjoy

Yup, embarkation will be at the Pan American pier.

That is interesting because when I called Celebrity they told me PanAmerican even when I asked them to check with someone else since it is a port of call and not originating (homeport) in San Juan.

That stinks if it is true. You will have to take a cab to get to old San Juan..

The only time that they use Pan-Am pier is the originating cruises. If you are just stopping for the day you dock at Old San Juan. Were there in December on the Reflection and docked at Old San Juan.

and the commercial dock are known as the Pan American Piers. They are about a 10 minute cab ride from OSJ or a 5 minute swim......
