If you could add one amenity to your cruise...

...what would it be? Not looking for free cocktail when you board, or chocolates on your pillow. More along the lines of pay per movies, free wifi, softer pillows, etc.

For me it would be a jukebox in O'Sheehan's. Personally, I really enjoy when there is a jukebox in a bar. In my opinion O'Sheehan's is the only place where a jukebox would work aesthetically.

Don't get me wrong I would be all for the ability to buy pay per view movies, free wifi and softer pillows. But they wouldn't be my first choice.

More munchies at the bar other than nuts. More free channels on the tv. Sound on the bow cam would be awesome!

The pub on the Sky serves hot popcorn, you get your own bag. :D

Make all casinos smoke free...

We take longer cruises so would love to have free laundry or at least one bag special per week rather than the one bag special per cruise which is the current platinum perk.

Some free wifi minutes on longer cruises would also be welcome.

These are some that other cruise lines offer that I'd like to see on NCL:

Virtual portholes and balconies

Grass

Water show

Bar on a moving elevator

The Virtual Porthole is a really cool idea. You have a virtual real time sliding door view of what is going on outside in an inside cabin. Not sure that this will become widespread, because then why do I need an OV Or above? Just book an inside! Grass and water show I can live without.

Well, that rising bar is pretty cool too. I would probably spend a lot of time there.

If it was on an NCL ship, drinks there would be excluded from the UBP... obviously!

Why? I have never seen UBP a tied to a specific venue. Any RCI cruisers with the equivalent drinks package who can comment? But, there might have to be a time limit, cause I coild just go up and down all night.

UBP is not accepted for admission to the Svedka Ice Bar. That is why I didn't go in on the Getaway since I could drink grey goose as part of the package.

Understand. However, as a non drinker myself....

for *me* the experience was the Svedka Ice Bar itself....not the drinks.

Yes, true as regards the Ice Bar, but I would still like to hear from RCI folk about the rising tide bar. I still regret not getting to the Ice Bar on our Getaway cruise. Would have been well worth it, UBP a or not, just for the fun of it! Not everything is about the money! Unfortunately we ran out of time, and now it has been eliminated on the newest ship, and who knows if I will ever get another chance.:(

That's a shame that they left the ice bar off of the Escape as it's a lot of fun. I thought it was best on the Epic myself. I think it's well worth the $20. That includes admission and two drinks. A couple of brave souls went in without the parkas and the gloves , but I thought they were crazy. It's freezing in there!:D
