We look forward to welcoming you on board.

We got the same email this year. However, we were able to price drop to a casino offer 2 weeks before we cruised this past January. It gave us $320 OBC so we were very, very happy.

Last year we didn't lose as much in the casino, though. I really was looking forward to the Premier Bon Voyage basket like we had last year. Oh, well.

Wrote to Michael Bayona about casino perks for our upcoming cruise. I got two surprises - it's now called Global Casino Services and we can forget about perks!! In the past, the lowest amount we've ever received was $25. Our casino spending is fairly consistent on each cruise and our last cruise was in September. Such is life - I guess I'll go to Vegas or else save my casino money for casinos that are in each port.

I was told recently that the casino stuff was turned over to Carnival's corporate recently. I think things are different now.

I sailed onboard the Prinsendam on Oct 21, 2104 and was told that I would be rated by my playing habits and that I would receive casino credit from the Players 21 club on my next cruise onboard the Prinsendam on July 29, 2015. This was not to be as promised. When I emailed the players club manager and talked with the casino manager on board, I got no answers. Why does Holland America try to entice people to gamble onboard its ships and not fulfill its obligations? I spent a lot of money on both cruises with Holland America. I was taken far better care of with Royal Caribbean when comes to casino perks.

We had Ned and Armstrong on the Paradise last cruise...hubby and I stayed in the casino..I had 2500 points..not a ton..just played minimum just to play...ended up with my first "free" inside cabin...which I took for spring break :) I think I got 50$ cash from the casino last time. :D I was stoked to get that cruise offer..I am not a high roller by any means so that was awesome! I can say I don't understand why some are so great to you and some are just borderline rude. Your job is to entice folks to gamble..not leave all hacked off because they don't feel valued.;)

Does anyone know who the casino hosts are on the Pride? We are going on the upcoming premier cruise and hoping to have a great time.

I am getting $900 in casino cash and my husband is getting $400 cuz he always plays craps. I had over 12,000 points last 7 day cruise. ;)

All casino hosts just met in Miami last week. Leanne is the Pride host. Beautiful young English lass. I am going on the pride 3/13. And was dying to find out so I called Daisy who was my host on the splendor as we became great friends and figured I'd ask her if she knew and low and behold Leanne was sitting right next to her!

As for perks! My mom won 3500$ on our last cruise and mail plays $1.50- $4.00 on pennies and only got 50$ and the drink card waiting in the room for our 14 day cruise.

My aunt who is computer illiterate who never NEVER emailed casino club for offers while being gold VIFP for 7 cruises. Lost almost 3000$ the last cruise. (Same cruise as my mom won on) and was told she didn't qualify.........

Seems like they have no rhyme or reason. I am a professional poker player and have been playing on the east coast circuit and EPT and LAPT for 3 years now. The rating on table games on a cruise is absurd!! Hence the fact I won't play them. I've won 4 of 4 blackjack tournaments I've entered which is a big return on a little investment. 2000$ and 4 "24karat gold" ships on a stick for 60$ worth of buy ins. Having to play $25/hand for your average bet for an hour can be costly if you are playing with tourists that don't know how to play. Norwegian opened a 100$ table the 2nd night for me. By the weeks end we had a full table of 6 playing. NCL must have loved that. I asked last cruise if there were even any 50$ tables and highest I was told was 15$. That's wack.

Safe to say after dissecting the pokerpro and the rake. I have to stick with what I know that is best for me. And that's poker. I think on the splendor 9 day cruise I was last on I netted around 400 to 500 per night from an 80$ buy in on the 1/2 game. Granted I only played 5 of the 9 nights. We would play 6 to 9 handed from 8 to 3am. And yet earned NOT ONE POINT! But I'd rather win money any day then to have to pay out or lose money to make 1500 points for a drink pass in which in perspective I already paid for a weeks worth of drinks to get that card.

Yes take for granted I know some people do win and make good profit. But casinos are what makes revenue for cruises and 89% lose I'd say.

But yes. I believe not only are the machines not set up to pay the 92-93% payback but if you lose the players club won't even give you perks to entice you to play more in the casino your next trip! . Bad bad bad marketing.

I contacted them just prior to my October cruise and got essentially the same response even though I had spent more than $100 a day in the casino on my prior cruises. It irritated me so I didn't set foot in their casino during that cruise. But I live in Oklahoma so there are lots of Indian owned casinos where I can go play.

Been on 35+ Carnival cruises. My wife and I spend several grand in the casino each time. Jaroslav is an awesome pit boss. Bunny also rocks. Bogdan has always been awful. There is no formula for getting perks from Carnival. I always spend a lot. Sometimes they give you stuff, mostly they don't.

I agree, Bogdan is the worst pit boss in the fleet! I wouldn't expect any good comps from him and he's the least personable of all the pit bosses I've come across on carnival.

Bunny is awesome though!

At $100 per day I'd say you are in the bottom 10% of gamblers. I can't see them paying any attention to you (which they didn't) at that level of play. I tip more than that per day.

I emailed Casino@carnival.com (2 weeks ago)and Michael Bayona directly, last week, and have had no response from either. I guess we are SOL for any perks on our April cruise. DH and I usually accumulate over 6000 points each on a cruise and are in the casino a lot. Oh well, maybe they will surprise us with something once we are on the ship. Anything we get is appreciated. We usually have the "drinks on us" on day one, and it is nice to have. We also get a bottle of wine at dinner one night, strawberries on embarkation and casino cash. And last cruise they gave us a free choice from the steakhouse upgrade on the menu(filet mignon for both). Ah, the good ole' days.

I emailed last week to ask for details on the first casino offer my SO received (the Conquest on 3/27). The response from Michael Bayona didn't even touch on my question. Instead, he said that my SO had open casino offers and provided the number to call to book. We called immediately and were told that the offers were all expired.

I hate to break it to you but $100 is nothing. People bet $100 hands on the tables that allow it. If you get to 5000 points you can request your Drinks On Us card the very first day in the casino. They just check that you got the 5000 points on your last cruise and if you did then they give you the card. That is a great perk and saves us a lot of money over the course of the cruise. We used to purchase 5 or so drinks a day (not heavy drinkers) and now we just go get it in the casino. That is a savings of around $50 a day depending on exactly what we order. Now, we do share the DOU card. I know some will frown on that but we only gamble on one players card to make sure that person gets as many points as possible so we get the best chance for offers. We just take turns ordering a drink (since we share one players card then whomever is gambling gets to order a drink) and like I said, we only get 5 or so a day between the two of us, not anywhere close to the 15 maximum.

I used to be a pit boss and I would run into this almost every day with lower-level players. People that played $5 blackjack for a hour thought they should be comped a free dinner buffet. Yes, that $50 or $100 may be a lot to you. However, to the casino, it is amount bet and time played. It can't reasonably give you a $25 dinner comp when your theoretical loss is only $1-$2.

If you're financially okay with losing more than $100 a day in the casino I'm surprised you even look for any casino perks because you obviously have absolutely no financial concerns! When I say I spend $100 in the casino each day I'm talking about my total loss. If I win 500 I will have played that 500 until it was gone Plus $100 per day. For me it's all about the entertainment value.

I just had 20.000 points on the island princess and my offer was the lowest ever, I feel slapped in the face. we had a free ocean view, was offered upgrade but declined for location, $750 cash for up to 15 day any cruise. New offer 7 days coastal, Caribbean, Mexican... interior no cash. We will be switching cruise lines and it won't be oceanplayers, com. Their communication is also awful... again a big slap in the face..l.

Yeah not sure that would be enough. I've received 2 premier cruise offers recently. They also are giving me $700 in the casino. Last time I lost $1500 on 5 day cruis

$100 per day is what I budget also. I get the premier offers and the pack n plays (including the pack n plays that just came out). I also get perks on board and was offered a bounce back on our last cruise. I had a little less that 3000 points on an 8 day

I have only done 2 carnival cruises, but have sailed other lines too. Do my play across all line pool to one account? I didn't get any offers directly to me for the cruise I just booked, but did book a " casino" rate online which was a few dollars less than the regular rate. I asked the agent about any other perks and he said to stop by the cage when I get onboard and ask them.

There is DEFINITELY no rhythm or reason to how Global Casino Services handles their comps or perks. My DH and I are sailing on the Legend for 11 nights next month and I e-mailed Global about what we could expect as far as onboard comps (We sailed the Splendor last March and DH got a BB which we took in July on the Magic. We also sailed the Magic in January so it's been 4 cruises in about 1 year). The reply was that I would get $100 casino cash, but DH did not qualify for any pre-cruise comps. Fast forward 2 weeks, DH and I BOTH received Pack n' Play offers and Premier Cruise offers.

If DH didn't qualify for even $25 casino cash, why does he NOW qualify for these offers? Baffling !!!!!

I'm sending a letter to Princess Cruise Lines about a free cruise we had taken away and I'd like to send a copy to Globial.

I know they are all under the same veil, but I was wondering how I could get a copy to Globial and to whom I might send it. Thank you for any and all help.
