I had a dessert at the Windjammer one day at lunch called Strawberry Napoleon...absolutely divine!

Roast Beef Sandwiches in the Park Cafe

 

In Samba's Grille, all of the meats served on a skewer at your table (the Lamb Shops are the best) and the chilled, boiled shrimp, already peeled for us.

 

The Chops Fillets

 

Filet of Beef in the MDR is one of RCI's best offerings across the fleet.

 

Cookies and other decadent goodies at the coffee shop and the Promenade Cafe.

 

The Windjammer is always good. There are too many things that are really good to try them all.

 

Soups - RCI offers excellent soups of all kinds.

I second your choice Sharon. I feel that the butter sauce that Royal Caribbean uses for the escargot, is rich and succulent, and just some of the best taste, makes my taste buds tingle just thinking about the escargot.:)

Not sure if all ships have them but we really enjoy the Crepes. Most any of the desserts are really good.

We always try something different and have enjoyed the food on Royal.

So this is my first Royal Caribbean cruise. You know we all have a favorite must food on a cruise. So tell me what is yours and if you have a picture that is even better. I want to make sure I don't miss anything good to eat on FOS. :)

I like the antipasti for two and gnocchi in Giovannis. On Allure, they carved the prosciutto from a huge piece ... Pretty cool.

 

Strangely, I also love the Tom Turkey MDR meal served once a cruise.

The savory bites and sour dough rolls are to die for, and the creme brûlée is soooo good. My favorite of the deserts. And then to top off the dessert I always have to have the after dinner shots!

Well, it used to be the Vidalia Onion Tart. Now, I'd say probably the filet in the MDR and bread pudding in the WJ. But, my favorite go to if I can't find anything else I like on the MDR menu is the pasta on the everyday menu. As far as desserts in the MDR, I love the souffle's, especially grand marnier.

What I look forward to enjoying when I cruise is"

 

Paella on embarkation day along with Strawberry/Kiwi drink

Chocolate chip cookies ( not the sugar free variety)

Shrimp roll (sandwich offered all the time at Café Promenade)

Cheesecake lollipops (also offered at Café Promenade).

 

I enjoy many of the selections on the menu...but I look forward to enjoying the above when a cruise is coming up.

We cruised last in 2013 so I can't remember much, but i know I LOVED the duck and my husband still remembers the filet. I was never not happy with any of my meals.

 

Cruising again next February and I am making note of all of the recommendations :)

Escargot every night last Christmas cruise on the Freedom. Dip them in the cheesy rolls. 4 of us ordered them every dinner in the MDR and then tables around us started getting them.
