LOL you are out of luck on Norwegian. They dumped Coke and went to Pepsi products.

 

(west coaster here, it is pop versus soda unless you want to specify a brand)

 

Doesn't matter. Down here, it's ALL called Coke as in...

 

"Do you want a coke?"

"Sure."

"What flavor? Pepsi?"

it's American slang. In different parts of the country people say soda, or pop, or soda pop. :D

 

In Egypt a few years ago -

 

American tourist to waiter - "Can I have a soda"

Waiter returns with a soda water

American tourist - "I asked for a soda"

Waiter - "Yes Sir, I brought you a soda water"

American tourist - "No, I wanted a soda"

Waiter - "but this is a soda water Sir"

 

etc
