floridaglen Posted April 3, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 3, 2015 The restaurant Izumi is now showing in my planner as complimentary, it no longer shows as 'from 0GBP'. Whereas, Devinly Decadence shows as being a la carte 'from 0GBP' but I know that is incorrect as it states in the FAQ's that Devinly Decadence is complimentary on Anthem. I'm so confused.:confused:

floridaglen Posted April 3, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted April 3, 2015 Izumi is a la carte. Your bill will be charged to your sail card. This is what is says on my planner: Dinner at Izumi Izumi INCREDIBLE ASIAN CUISINE – A LA CARTE A fusion of fresh pan-Asian flavors served impeccably – that's Izumi. Complimentary ADD TO CART I don't see how they charge when it says complimentary, this is new, last time I looked it said 'from 0GBP'

Complimentary ADD TO CART I don't see how they charge when it says complimentary, this is new, last time I looked it said 'from 0GBP' I had the same issue. I booked Izumi based on the info above. However, I later cancelled the booking because all of the other relative info that I found, seemed to suggest that the venue was NOT complimentary. wovenwonder Posted April 5, 2015 #7 Share Posted April 5, 2015 I don't believe there ever was a cover charge for Izumi.
CruisinCons Posted April 6, 2015 #8 Share Posted April 6, 2015 Just got off Quantum today. The $0 is so you can make a reservation. When you get there, you will be given a menu and you pay for what you order. Not sure how important the reservations are, though. Most times when we walked by it was pretty empty. Only the last night was it busy.
Rare steamboats Posted April 6, 2015 #9 Share Posted April 6, 2015 I don't believe there ever was a cover charge for Izumi. Jody, Not on the Quantum but on Oasis/Allure and other ships who got Izumi later. Once there used to be a cover charge of 7 or 10 Dollars and 5 Dollars were taken off your bill. RCI changed that various times. steamboats
govanguy Posted May 3, 2015 #10 Share Posted May 3, 2015 We booked Izumi way back in Feb 2015 . I`m sure this was listed under complimentary option. Now, I see it`s a la carte... Could this be an unnotified change or am I mistaken? Too late now to cancel before boarding. I`ll be cancelling onboard.

At one time there was a cover charge that was deducted from your total bill but since then has been a la carte.
