6rugrats Posted April 4, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 4, 2015 (edited) They have only one plane. This would not be an airline I would even consider. http://worldairlinenews.com/2014/06/12/skygreece-airlines-is-ready-to-start-flying-this-month/ https://mobile.twitter.com/skygreece http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/SkyGreece_Airlines Edited April 4, 2015 by 6rugrats
backsbanny Posted April 5, 2015 #5 Share Posted April 5, 2015 they used to have an other airline called hellenic imperial few years ago..they were supposed to do ath nyc flights from jfk..a lot of passengers booked tickets with them and they just did 3 or 4 flights..these people still wait to get their money back sth which will never happened since these guys left the company after that and just took the money..they are a big scum.If you ever see that aegean airlines is going to offer flights to usa or canada in the near future dont have any problem booking...aegean is a very legit airline in greece having a huge network one of the biggest companies in europe transporting 15 million pax per year.but NOT SKYGREECE..BEWARE
john watson Posted April 5, 2015 #6 Share Posted April 5, 2015 (edited) Never heard of this airline. Can you elaborate? If you want to look up an airline/aircraft http://www.planespotters.net is excellent under their data center I have located this airline. They seem to operate just one aircraft as has been stated above. It is a Boeing 767 construction number 26470 which first flew in February 1992. They give the average age of the fleet to any airlines fleet which in this case is 23.2 years. If you ever look at any budget airline it is a good idea to check the plane spotters site as it quite often clues you up on what not to book. Some budget airlines have older planes while others achieve economies by bulk throughput of many passengers to save the money or just running loads of planes of nearly identical models all round to simplify things like Jet Blue. De-regulation is not always the consumers friend. Regards John Edited April 5, 2015 by john watson
