mrobstad Posted May 1, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 1, 2015 If u have a specific date, itinerary, book now and just keep watching the price. You can always get the next great deal. I find having a personal cruise consultant who knows me to be very helpful.
clm1982 Posted May 1, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted May 1, 2015 Do they let you do that though, surely they wouldn't make any money doing it that way?
Clarea Posted May 1, 2015 #4 Share Posted May 1, 2015 Do they let you do that though, surely they wouldn't make any money doing it that way? I don't know your booking rules, but under US/Canadian rules, we can usually get price drops as long as it is before the cruise final payment date. mrobstad Posted May 1, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 1, 2015 Clare's correct. In fact, if the price dips after final, call your PCC and get an amenity. My complication is I travel solo and rooms are priced for double occupancy. But, I work with a great personal cruise consultant from NCL and he always comes through. I asked for a last minute Breakaway cruise this weekend and I got s balcony with unlimited drinks for $950 inc tax and port charges. An interior was like $550! But no drink packsge[emoji52]....I've not yet found a great RCCL consultant....so if anyone has one, let me know....

American Bear Posted May 1, 2015 #9 Share Posted May 1, 2015 So royal have buy one get one 50% off at the moment and kids also 50% off. What's the best or other deals you have come across? Should I hold off for a better deal? If you gamble, get into the Casino Club, we think their benefits are better then the C&A Club. Our best deal, a free cruise as invited guest on one of the first Allure cruises, a free cruise on the Grandeur 2x's, and a free cruise on the Radance, others but forget.:D (Casino Club perks) Our suggestion, the shorter cruises on non-holiday times will have some last minute sales. The longer cruises will have some changes 3-6 months out. Of course there will be ships that have a following, and will rarely offer a real deal. We noticed a trend(?could be wrong) that RCL sometimes likes to change prices on tues. and thurs. so we'd make sure to check all during the day on those days. We got a few cruises about 25% off those days, and the price would go back up very quickly. Maybe TA's dumping cruises? Also if you can do last minute cruises, sign up with a good TA, that does a lot of business with RCL, they will get last minute deals unpublished (yes they exist, so other cruisers won't get mad they paid more) that could be as high as 25-40% off. klct39lg Posted May 3, 2015 #12 Share Posted May 3, 2015 We are looking at the 5 day to Bermuda in October. The price doesn't seem to fluctuate much. If you get a price drop later, would you lose any previously booked deal, i.e. half price second beverage package?
