No idea if/when Oasis will get slides, but the next dry dock will probably be in about 4-5 years.

We were on Oasis in mid-April and the ship really needs some TLC - carpets and furniture worn and looking old. My DH even commented and that's not usually stuff he notices.

They must have had some really abusive cruisers since the October 2014 dry-dock then.

 

The ship looked wonderful when I sailed on the TA from Rotterdam following the Oasis 2 week dry-dock.

 

I think the waterslide design will take more time and might even be a post Harmony introduction. With NCL coming with the 'largest' water park at sea in December and then MSC coming with the new digital 'slideboarding' water slide, the competition is too great for RCI to just add a standard slide.

But a standard slide is better than nothing. That is the one thing missing from RCL (outside of the one coming on Harmony)
