Strolling along the promenade and two rescue squad vehicles run up and take a gurney onboard.

 

Hope it is just a minor injury or nothing serious after what we heard happened last week.

We are BritChick. Having sailed on the Gem during her inaugural season I believe during New Year of 2007 into 2008 and three times since she has been maintained well in most areas.

 

Really have fond memories of an awesome Ny eve party on the pool deck that first trip on her!

I've been enjoying your updates and wanted to thank you! We'll be on the Gem on July 18, last trip on her was Sept. 2014 for the New England/Canada route. Just back from an April trip on Breakaway, Florida/Bahamas. We did the airboat excursion at Port Canaveral - a fun excursion! Looking forward to your next post!

Thanks for sharing! We board the Gem this Saturday, what is the craps minimum? I assume it's $10 at of NY but a girl can hope ;-)

how is second city show in the theater?

 

 

It was just ok, we left early as the improv portion was not that good, but the practiced skits were ok.

 

I would prefer rehearsed comedy if that is what it is called. This is our 4 or 5th time seeing second city and it usually is not our cup of tea that being the improv portion.

Thanks for the great pictures and info. Sailing on the Gem next month. What a great day you had for sailing out of NYC. I'm curious how the new policy of not taking food from the buffet is going. I enjoy lunch or a snack on my balcony mid afternoon. Enjoy your vacation. Keep us posted!😃

Thanks Lcbhcb! I did not know of this policy, and I took some coffee and desert out of the buffet and the washy washy girl was there and said nothing and I saw others with plates of food heading out to the pool deck, so I am not sure they are enforcing it.
