I just got back from Liberty of the Seas sailing October 17-22.

For your sailing, I'd guess you'd get sailings through the middle or end of March.

I need April 2 or 3rd that when my DD spring break :) BUT by end of this year hopefully we will have 2016 casino cruises schedule

That's very interesting. After reading your message, I called Club Royale to find out what I earned based on the same cruise. I also got a free cruise certificate (good for a balcony on select sailings or $1,000 toward any sailing by 1/31/16), but my rebate was $525.

I find it very interesting that the comps/rebates aren't proportional. I guess that's one of those Club Royale mysteries.

Mark,

Forget to ask....

when you choose cruise from the list or choose 1K apply to your choice cruise ...Do you still have your $525 rebate save to get this cash on board of your next cruise? Is it combinable with offer + cash rebate

I never had a change to use any of these certificates --- timing issue

usually I travel with vip casino schedule offers and/or cash rebates.

Thank you :)

Hi Marc & Nick!

Just spoke with Club Royale. I never received an offer of a free cruise, but earned a $575 rebate. I am not sure where the cut off is. The told me the new program is being released next month......we'll see.

That's good! You just have to use it by 3/15/16....

I just called CR to see if I can pick the 12/20/15 cruise on Jewel for my comp cruise (this was on Marc's list of choices but not mine). They said they could give it to me for 50% off, not free. $746 total....that basically just gives me the $750 cash value of my certificate but I couldnt get it free :(. I'm just going to leave things as is and use the $600 cash rebate towards my 11/26 Brilliance

Who is the host on Liberty now?

I also wish I could figure out how they came up with rebate amounts. We are using one of the free cruise cents for the independence and when we called they were able to give us a JS on the 7th sailing. I also wish they would let you collect more than one rebate per cruise. I now have a few stacked up because of these free cruise certs.

I'm having that same issue due to multiple cruises in short time. Raz is the casino host on Liberty

Thanks, at least with us the DW and I can change up which cert we use, 1 cruise we will use hers and the next mine. Right now we are sitting on 3 more that most likely will not be used unless it's weekends. We did just book the Enchantment for the 11th using one the balcony ones that was worth 1000 and got a JS for that. But still have 3 (2 balcony, 1 ocean view) and no vacation time for DW and I think 3 rebates sitting in the books with Royal.

I was trying to find out what ship Shirly is on now.

I heard she was on INDY but about to go on a vacation. After that it's ??

Currently on Liberty and was told by Casino Host, Raz, that 2 cruise certificates (dollar value) can be used towards 1 cruise. Like Nick, we have quite a few cruises already booked and not looking forward to book anymore at the moment. I have a final payment due on one of our cruises when we come home this Sunday, hoping I can use 1 of my 3 certificates towards final payment.

Saying hello to my friends Mary, Nick and Marc, it was "great " meeting you guys and hope to see you all soon 😀😀😀

I called Club Royal about 4 weeks ago and booked the Oasis for the New Years cruise. I get $1100 in cash and got casino rate, which is about, including insurance, for 3 of us, $1800 less than what I can get on the website. I looked at JR suites, but it is almost 5K per person, and not really worth it. I just want the large balcony anyway, as I sometimes sleep out there.

Nice rebate. NYE is the most expensive cruise of all

There are definitely some challenges with these free cruise certificates.

They really only make good sense for those whose rebates are less than what a cruise fare would be. For example

1. You can not use a certificate for a cruise and also get your rebate on that same cruise...However, you can earn a rebate on a cruise that you are sailing on a certificate with.

2. so essentially you could end up with more than one rebate, and you can not combine rebates at all. So you essentially are going to end up throwing away whatever rebate has the lowest dollar amount because you will be continuously earning a rebate on a sailing. Unless of course you take a free cruise and dont go in the casino, but that could affect your rating.

For me, On my oasis cruise in september. They gave me a free cruise certificate on day three of the cruise because my play was already enough to earn it... However, My rebate that I earned was the maximum rebate of $5,000 so I opted to completely disregard my Free cruise ( because at that level of play they comped my balcony on my oasis sailing in december anyways) and Without using my certificate, I will also get my $5,000 rebate when I get on board.

The certificates are really only good for the people that play some and would not otherwise get a full comp and the free cruise values at more than what you 500 or 1000 rebate would be. For those people, it's a great deal, just disregard the small rebate.

Of course everything will change (probably) if they ever roll out the new program.

This is just my experience on the ships and the additional information I have gotten from club royal. Depending on who you talk to , the deals and the stories are slightly different ( not their fault) just so much mystery around the whole new deal.

I don't remember seeing it in writing yet, but was told that the club is now open on weekends for calls. They have hired more people but we can tell that by how quick they are answering the phone now.

last couple times I called and it was under 5 mins waiting time ...

We were just off of the Liberty on 11/01 (sorry I just missed you Mark!). I was sitting in the casino with my friend who is a member of Club Royale. She was playing on a slot machine when Raz (casino host) walked up and introduced himself and confirmed that she was who he was looking for. She confirmed her name for him and he handed her an envelope with a certificate in it for a free cruise. She was ecstatic. I don't know enough yet about Club Royale but she said this was a first for her. She has sailed for free a few times (all but the taxes and port charges?) but she has never been approached in the casino by the host. Is this the norm for this program or was she just really lucky day 9 of our 10 day cruise (which was great by the way)?

Y..

This is the new norm as of the past several months. Club Royale members are receiving complimentary cruises or discounts off cruises over the following three months or so that they can use instead of their normal cash rebate.

With the program changing within the next few months, it's anyone's guess what the future will hold.

I called last weekend and they were closed

CR new weekend hours go into effect this coming weekend. Rep gave me the hours for EST as

Monday-Friday--- 8 am-10 pm

Weekends------- 9 am- 7 pm

You should be ok, they are good for value until the end of January if I remember without going and looking at one of them. If you booked it through the club it should not be a problem, if you with another way you might have to get them involved.

Spoke with CR on Monday and they are extending the travel date for the certificates from 1/31/16 to 2/29/16. Certificates can only be used for new bookings and can not be applied to current bookings :(

I always book through CR.

I was told that there was going to be a meeting on Anthem 11/1 for all HD.

Maybe that's why John Denton was not on the EN this weekend. Good to know about the cruise certs. being extended. I'm still just going to take my $600 rebate as cash on my cruise in 20 days..

Good luck!,

Yes I hope to see you on a sailing real soon.

According to CR today, we should be getting emails by the end of this month about the new program. Yeah...we shall see.

They also did confirm the current cruise Certs can be used on new bookings that sail before March 1 for the trade in value
