Anthem - American Icon Grill Breakfast

Hi

 

Can someone let me know if on the Anthem the Breakfast menu is still the same.

 

Is it still a full menu breakfast?

 

I just saw on the Anthem compass AMERICAN ICON GRILL (Express Buffet Breakfast)

 

Did they change the Breakfast menu from a full complete menu to a Buffet menu like the Lido deck

Royal have had buffets appear in various forms in their MDRs to complement the menu offerings.

 

This is the first I have heard of this from Anthem/Quantum.

 

While some use these buffets to replace breakfast service, many use the buffet only for items like cold meats and vegetables, fresh fruit and muesli.

 

This is helpful as many from different cultures have different breakfast habits. European breakfast habits can be especially very diverse from country to country.

 

I would assume that the full menu remains. I am sure someone will confirm this soon.

A very recent review said that American Icon serves a waiter service breakfast but with a buffet to help yourself as well. Pretty much as we have had on Indy and Adventure in the MDR before.

We had breakfast in AIG. It was waiter service but there was also a self serve area. The same as on other RCI ships in the MDR.

Eggs Benedict

Southwest Huevos Rancheros

New York Bodega Breakfast

Louisiana Beignets

Traditional Full English

Pancakes

 

Plus you could help yourself to the buffet items with cereals, fruit, pastries and a few hot items...

Can you remember if Corned Beef Has was available in American Icon for breakfast ?? I love Corned Beef Hash and fried eggs for breakfast when I visit the U.S. ..... Obviously I can manage the full English if I have to ;) but first time on RCI and Anthem so not sure if they serve this option ??

 

Last year we could even get Corned Beef Hash and eggs on our room service breakfast on Celebrity so hoping I can at least get this in the served restaurant :)

Corned Beef Hash was available in the Windjammer barneymag - didn't see it in AIG though...

That explain why it says on the Anthem Compass (Express Breakfast Buffet).

I did not understand what that meant.

 

I thought they change AIG breakfast on the Anthem.

I had a full breakfast on the Quantum at AIG
