Willa, absolutely will add you (and TxLadycruiser) to our roll call. Very sorry to hear of your husband's passing...can vividly recall the joy you both showed on our Spirit crossing in Nov 2013.. Am on wifi (@ St. Joe's) now so when I get home will update the roll call accordingly.

I am sorry to learn of your husbands passing. To echo Wes, I do remember the two of you at the meet and mingle, and throughout the cruise you both had broad grins and there was much happy laughter. It truly was a great cruise.

Thanks very much KaraokeQueen, roll updated below. As we get within six months of sailing (end of 2016), will update the roll call further (for those who opt in) with suite numbers (facilitates meet ups(drinks/dinners) between roll call members). Also, will make name tags with your Cruise Critic name/hometown and first names as shown in this link below. Will then coordinate with our Muse CD (cc HD (Paolo)) and make sure the name tags are available at our meet & mingle (generally the day following embarkation depending on the itinerary). Have found in organizing close to a dozen of these meet & mingles--having name tags facilitates communication, and helps turbo charge budding cruise friendships.

Thanks to Spinnaker2/Candy & Larry's sharp eye's (today, Candy mentioned to me that she thought they cut the steel for the Muse--indicating that the Muse build process is beginning). Please enjoy this Silver Muse Steel cutting vid (thanks Brian/Stumblefoot for he heads up via FB) , put out today by Silversea on Social Media via you tube. Good to see SS leveraging social media (FB and Twitter) to showcase their newest flagship build. FYI, @ about 1:50 min into the vid Silversea has list of key Silver Muse attributes to include 8 dining venues, and new outside venues including a sky deck.

Looks like "Inaugural Voyage" is being added to end of "World Cruise". So start of Muse Voyage is Nice on May 3rd. 13 days to Istanbul. World Cruise will have priority over Venetian Society bookings.

The timing of the maiden voyage will not work for us. We might do the TA in September, but once again the timing isn't what we want.

We have been to all of those ports several times.

I realize this trip is not about the ports.

I would also like more definitive information.

It's like buying a pig in a poke right now.

I just don't want to do this and have issues with cabin availability based on the WC passengers having priority. Like others have mentioned, the itinerary is not pleasing to me either.

 

Guess we will pass on the "maiden voyage".
