lovevacadays Posted July 12, 2015 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2015 I was just looking at the deck plans and noticed a place called Limelight on Deck 7. What is this?
StLouisCruisers Posted July 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2015 On the Royal (same deck plan probably) that is a counter for sales of merchandise from the shops onboard. Sometimes they sell watches, and other times T-shirts, etc. Other ships set up tables but on the Regal/Royal they have that permanent set up. Colo Cruiser Posted July 13, 2015 #6 Share Posted July 13, 2015 I always thought it sounded more like a photo studio. :D
pablo222 Posted July 13, 2015 #7 Share Posted July 13, 2015 I always thought it sounded more like a photo studio. :D When Grand entered service, it had a "Lime Light Studio" This was a green screen setup, where you could be in a picture with a fake background -- like water-skiing behind the ship. I guess it was a bust, as after a year or two, the space was used for storage.
Oh2B@C Posted July 13, 2015 #8 Share Posted July 13, 2015 To me "Limelight" sounds like a club, with a crystal ball on the ceiling. And RUSH would be playing there 24/7... "Living in the limelight, the universal dream..." Look it up;)

Look it up;) On P&O Britannia (same design as Royal &Regal) the Limelight is a supper club where you can have dinner while being entertained by a cabaret act. What location on the Britannia? What is on the Royal/Regal in that spot?

Josy1953 Posted July 13, 2015 #12 Share Posted July 13, 2015 What location on the Britannia? What is on the Royal/Regal in that spot? It is on deck 5, I think that Sabatinis was in the same place on the Royal.
