Travel adapter special

Recommended Posts

Since this is something often needed by travellers, thought I'd mention there's a special today at Dick Smith on a 3 pack for adapters to the major international destinations, US, EU and UK. $7.50 for all three. (Whereas just one often costs more than that.)

These are the decent earthed ones and so on, so no safety issues unlike the cheapies.

Order online, click and collect...

Just a note, this converts the plugs but doesn't convert the electric voltage which is different between AUS and NA

True enough. Most small things travelled with here though on cruises are converted, and many of us have used adapters before.

Yes, the post time was 8.34PM which is well past closing time for our local shop.

Yes, as said in the opening post, you could order online. You could then have it delivered, or click to collect for free from your preferred store.

Goes to show if you snooze you lose, it seems that one day sales only last a short time nowadays.;)

Haha.

But just like the cruise lines' sales, there may well be another one around again soon. ;)

That is right, if they prove a winner for clearing stock and making profits, they will definitely continue with more one day sales.

As long as there is enough mark-up overall, Woolworths love the %s
