Can you still cash out unused gift cards at the casino?

I'm hoping I can cash out any unused portion of my gift cards at the casino if I apply it to my sign and sail account. I found a thread about being able to do that, but it was a 2013 thread and I know things change. Has anyone done this recently?

Thanks!

Can you please provide the details on how to do this? I have $300 in gift cards. I will apply them to my account at a kiosk or GS, but I am not certain how to convert to cash to play at blackjack tables. Do I have to download to my player's account via slot machine first, or can I get chips from the cashier?

Just charge your play to your Sail and Sign on the slots and apply the gift cards to your balances at a kiosk or GS

I don't want to play slots, just table games. I need to know how to get cash/chips for the table games and vaguely remember using slot machines to move money from my sign and sail account to my casino players account.

You can either go to the slots, download the$$ to your player bank, then cash out at the casino cage. No fee to do this. Or, you can have the pit boss get you cash against your S&S account. That will cost you 3%. There have been some reports that if you do the slot method with no play, they will give you a hard time. I just play a tiny bit, then cash out and use cash at tables.

Thank you. I will play slots for a short time, then cash out. And I will take the entire $300 at one time and put part of it in the safe so I don't have to make more than one transaction at the cashier cage.
