Embarcation security line perks?

I was pleasantly surprised on my last cruise out of Baltimore to learn that, in addition to physically challenged persosns, if you are RCCL Diamond or above or in a suite, you don't have to stand in line to go through security, you go right up to the security screeners. I don't know if this is the standard operating procedure in any other port. I had never heard of this before. We are sailing out of Miami in March and I am just curious as to whether there is any other port, but especially Miami, that allows anyone other than those in wheel chairs or with other disabilities to bypass the lines and go directly to the security screeners. Thanks very much for any information.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that I am sailing Celebrity in March out of Miami. Baltimore has only smaller ships because of height restrictions under a bridge and at this point only RCCL and Carnival go out of that port. Just wondering if any other ports give security line perks. Again, thanks for any info.

I know for the fact that ports of Miami, FLL and San Juan do offer priority boarding line perk.

We are Elite+ with Celebrity and often sail in suits. There are separate check in lines for both but we've never been told to bypass other guests in any security line.

At some ports there are two security stations - one for priority guests and the other everyone else. Southampton and Shanghai are two examples we have experienced.

Thanks, I was just curious about the policy in other ports. In Baltimore they don't tell you about going directly to the screeners, you have to know about the policy and tell the person at the door when you come in that you are Diamond or above and they look at your boarding pass to confirm your status and then direct you past the line right to the screeners. Two cruises ago we were in the security line for about an hour and we kept seeing people bypassing the line and finally we asked a security person why some people were going directly to the screeners and he said "Oh they are Diamond and above" so we said we were Diamond and he took us out of the security line and right up to the screeners. Then on our last cruise out of Baltimore there was a person on our roll-call that actually worked at the Port of Baltimore and he mentioned that if you were Diamond and above you could skip the security line and go directly to the security screeners so for that cruise we told them as soon as we entered the building and we were directed to the head of the security line. It was really a nice perk that I had never seen mentioned before.
