What are the must - see - do -eat things on the Ruby (1rst time Princess cruiser)

I don't know when you are cruising, but if it is in the near future, there is a fantastic trio playing music in the Piazza: The Rhapsody Trio. Their music is beautiful. We heard them a year ago on a cruise through the Panama Canal.

Do sample the wonderful treats at the International Cafe. Too good to miss. Marvelous salads, sandwiches and desserts, and open round the clock. My favorite is the chicken salad. They will put it on a croissant if you ask prettily.

Adagio's, bar up top near Sabatini's. Quiet with fabulous views and evening music, often a pianist.

If you are a wine drinker The Stammitsch Table in Vines is a nice thing to do and you get to meet other passengers in a small group setting. 12 people max at the table. It was 3 wines with pairings for 15 per person when we were on board the Ruby in Feb/Mar this year. Had such a good time we did it 5 times on our 49 days.

Ultimate Balcony Dinner and Ultimate Ship Tour. (depending on the length of your cruise) Both are amazing.

If they offer a cooking demonstration and a galley tour...don't miss. The demonstration is great. They are funny and the smells are.......well awesome. Galley tour is just that. Nothing spectacular, but it was fun.

 

Ruby is a beautiful ship.

Try to spend a day, or more in the Sanctuary. It is peaceful and very relaxing. The staff up there is wonderful. You will love the treats at tea time everyday!

After noon tea is a very neat experience. Happy hour BOGO drinks, art auctions are entertaining and free champagne, also in the library you can play games and eat snacks. Zumba was fun! Just don't stress do what you can and relax when needed.
