tomcruiser1234 Posted September 6, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2015 Going on the 24 day transpacific, for $80 more a night we can get the owner suite. Seems like same perks and little more room. Any thoughts.?????

cb at sea Posted September 7, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 7, 2015 If you enjoy eating in room, then the table is VERY handy! Which ship, tho?
AustinCruise Posted September 7, 2015 #4 Share Posted September 7, 2015 $80 per night is quite a bit. But the OS is a good bit larger. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Clarea Posted September 7, 2015 #5 Share Posted September 7, 2015 If it's important, the main bed in the Owner's Suite cannot usually be separated into two beds.
klepton Posted September 7, 2015 #6 Share Posted September 7, 2015 Not sure which ship you're sailing on but we had an OS on the Legend that worked very well for us. It's quite a bit bigger than the GS, which worked very well having two kids as well as us. The curtain around the bed provided a dark area for naps (both our son and DW :D) and the dining room table was great for getting breakfast in the room. The balcony was a lot larger too. It also worked well because we were travelling with others and our room was definitely big enough for the group to hang out in. All that said, if it was just DW and I $80/night sounds pretty steep. The GS is a very nice suite, and all the perks are the same.
Mark-Sheffield Posted September 7, 2015 #7 Share Posted September 7, 2015 We had an OS on Indy and if your budget allows you i would go for the upgrade. On a cruise of that length the extra space will be welcome.

RCI Cruisers 004 Posted September 7, 2015 #9 Share Posted September 7, 2015 Going on the 24 day transpacific, for $80 more a night we can get the owner suite. Seems like same perks and little more room. Any thoughts.????? There are a few posts already regarding the differences between the GS and OS, discussing everything from bidets to beds. Just my opinion, but if its in your budget, the OS is worth it !

RocketMan275 Posted September 7, 2015 #11 Share Posted September 7, 2015 Explorer of the Seas, April, 2016 Sydney Australia to Seattle Washington. This might help. Youtube has multiple videos of both the grand and owners suite for EOTS. Use their search function, Explorer of the Seas Owners Suite, Explorer of the Seas Grand Suite. ATG Posted September 7, 2015 #12 Share Posted September 7, 2015 I love all the extra space in the living room. We don't eat in the room often, so the table doesn't matter. But, I HATE the bathroom. I don't need/don't use a bidet, so that space is wasted. And the shower stall is just too cramped to feel luxurious. I feel like I am showering in an interior cabin. I know this is not the standard opinion, but I thought I would share. I am sure you will have an absolutely great cruise in either.
