Ouch, so glad this wasn't out experience two weeks ago.

Once your room is ready this could be prime time to take a nap or do as I did and nap in one of the comfy couches on the Waterfront. Then you'll be all refreshed to party all night if you want.

Worst case scenario.....you pay taxes on all your cocktails from the UBP! I'd just be happy to finally be on the ship. Besides, they may have padded the time as a "just in case" and may leave earlier. I'm sure no one will complain if the ship leaves at 8 instead of midnight!

One more week!!:D

How is that "whole half day wasted"? O_o

Yes, casino will be closed and some taxes collected but that's it - otherwise just like any other evening.

Just saying I like to spend time looking at the ocean, definitely not at all a big deal at all, but would be better without the delay.

That should be a pretty sight! For now I would recommend a Mango Meltdown or Raspberry Mojito from that great bar on the Waterfront. Hope the rest of your cruise is smooth- Enjoy!

Still in Miami but it is indeed beautiful. Rain has been all around us this afternoon but none has fallen directly over the ship. Right now we have all of Miami laid out in front of us and lightening way off in the distance. Truly remarkable! Have a belly full of Teppanyaki and a couple of drinks to start the night off right. We leave when we leave. Enjoying the view right now!

Anyone else find it weird they aren't disclosing what is being worked on? Also, the term 'scheduled maintenance' doesn't seem appropriate to me. If it were scheduled, they should have indicated that this particular cruise leaves at midnight, not 4pm as advertised.

We went to Teppanyaki AND Illusionarium hahaha. Gorgeous view, but something is just weird about this. I've even talked to crew (a few hours earlier) that had no idea saying ship leaves at 5 or something along those lines.
