Cruise TIckets, etc

Many, if not most, cruise lines don't print tickets for cruisers anymore. You typically need to log on at the website for (I assume- remember not everyone can see the cruise in your signature) Celebrity, access your booking, and print the required documents, which usually are very few.

Ask you TA what Celebrity does, or check on the Celebrity board here on Cruise Critic.

Yes - definitely go to the Celebrity web site and create a profile. It's all explained under the tab Already Booked? or the FAQs. A ton of info available there.

A good TA should provide everything you require, or explanation of what to do, but I don't trust them and do it myself. But don't leave it too long... it appears you're cruising in 2 months and the cruise line needs certain info from you before they will issue a boarding pass. It's easy.

No tickets....you don't even need a boarding pass! All you NEED is your booking number....but most lines will give you some sort of paper that you get off the internet....The only thing that takes tickets anymore, is a movie theater!!!

Like so much, this does vary by cruise line.

On some cruise lines no tickets but on others there are tickets.

Most of the ones we sail still provide a ticket.

As noted by some of the posters, this does vary by cruise line.

If you have a TA ask the TA go get you the specifics otherwise post this on the cruise line board you are sailing.

Always best to list out the cruise line you are sailing when asking questions about policy.

That isn't really true is all cases.

In Ft Lauderdale at some of the terminals we have to show our boarding passes before we can enter the cruise terminal.

Also need to show boarding pass (or something with pax names and date of cruise) in San Diego and both Los Angeles ports. One year a friend forgot to print out their boarding pass and only had an email with her name on it. She was ok. It took about 30 minutes for someone to find a manifest so her husband could enter the terminal.

Last time we boarded in Ft Lauderdale (Princess) all the attendants wanted to see was whether we had priority check-in or not so that we would get in the correct line.

No other effort was made to check our ID.
