Rare Lionesss Posted September 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 18, 2015 (edited) Recently on one of the threads I saw a mention of how many members are in each level; Gold Platinum Emerald Diamond Diamond plus And Pinnacle (Pineapple (lol))---that was in the thread On another thread, I cannot find that post. Does anyone know the thread I am referring too? And of course the number of members in each level. Thanks Sea Ya Edited September 18, 2015 by Lionesss
Rare John&LaLa Posted September 18, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2015 Old thread equals old information. Plus as I recall there was a lot of bickering on those numbers. Latest I heard was something like 3000 pinnacle and we'll over 100K D+
ARCruisinNana Posted September 18, 2015 #3 Share Posted September 18, 2015 Almost 8 million C&A members.

Rare Lionesss Posted September 18, 2015 Author #7 Share Posted September 18, 2015 (edited) Almost 8 million C&A members. WOW And I mean WOW!!!!!! I cannot fathom that amount being loyal to one company.... Now dont take that out of context, we are happy with RCI at this time. Wish someone knows of which thread I am referring too:( Okay maybe some one knows. Thanks Edited September 18, 2015 by Lionesss

Rare Lionesss Posted September 18, 2015 Author #9 Share Posted September 18, 2015 True But. Thought you had to apply for C&A number. That is after your first cruise. I bet some. Do not know how many----- never do.

brfan Posted September 18, 2015 #13 Share Posted September 18, 2015 Keep in mind, anyone that has sailed is a C&A member. Not necessarily loyal You don't have to sail Royal to be a C&A member. You can become a C&A member if you've sailed Celebrity and are a Captain's Club member. I don't know if that is also true with Azamara or any of Royal's other smaller lines. You can also become a Captain's Club member with Celebrity if you are a C&A member.

I am sure someone somewhere can help me with my question. Google, hmmmmmm Challenges There will never be an accurate number of current members. I doubt that deaths are reported to RCI to be removed from the rolls. You can be sure with over 8 million members this is a daily occurrence. Ken at the beach Posted September 19, 2015 #18 Share Posted September 19, 2015 I think that's where I saw it and the arguments on its validity As I remember (and I'm not searching through 2 months of posts to find it) the numbers seemed very reasonable. It was about that 8m total members, P's in the 1000 range, a few more D+ than I thought but overall they looked in line with heat you would expect. Langley Cruisers Posted September 19, 2015 #19 Share Posted September 19, 2015 I think the only thing you can know for sure is how many members in each level are on your cruise. It was interesting - it's not readily shared with the public but we were onboard on turnaround day on one of our B2B's and a staff member made an announcement to staff and crew about the next group of passengers coming on, including number of children and number of C&A members in each level. When we were on Legend in December our waiter had a sheet of paper with all kinds of stuff on it. Included C&A break down, kids, top 3 cruisers, even the customer satisfaction scores. Also had menu highlights, port info and evening entertainment. I have it somewhere. ;)

Ken at the beach Posted September 19, 2015 #22 Share Posted September 19, 2015 That's the post. To me they seem in line with some of the numbers that I have heard the LA mention for individual sailings.

maureencruiser Posted September 19, 2015 #24 Share Posted September 19, 2015 When did c&A start? My first Royal cruise was in 1991, I also recall they used to sign you up automatically. It was no big deal then, you just got a newsletter mailed to you maybe twice a year. On the survey you filled out at the end of the cruise, it asked you if you wanted to join. You could say yes or no, there was no option for...I am already a member. RC has never gotten my points straight, I had several different numbers under several different spellings (misspellings) of my name. This was pre Sept 11, when you could fly with just your initials, etc. I've flown and cruised as Maureen, Mauren, Moreen, etc. Don't even get me started on the many ways to spell my last name. :D:D
