Hotel with HAL transfer?

You might want to ask on the HAL board.

To be honest, San Diego is one of the easiest ports out there. If you weren't dragging bags, you could pretty easily walk from airport to port. A taxi to the port area wouldn't cost $15. And there are 5 or 6 hotels within walking distance of the dock. I can't think of any real good reason to use HAL transfers and hotel. Probably a waste of money.

I agree that San Diego is an easy port to cruise from, and there's no need to book the cruise line's hotel and transfer. I stay at the Hampton Inn on Pacific Hwy. They have an airport shuttle, and on cruise day I just wheel my suitcase over to the terminal.

According to the HAL website, they use the SHERATON HOTEL AND MARINA. Don't know anything about it.
