Larry&Darla Posted October 26, 2015 #26 Share Posted October 26, 2015 There is bound to be a 24x7 liquor store nearby. It may even deliver. :D Texas liquor stores are not open on Sunday and they are also not open 24 hours a day. Beer and wine can be purchased after Noon on Sundays but not at a "liquor store". Liquor stores close at 9pm Monday through Saturday. Way different from other places but thats the way it is.
Larry&Darla Posted October 26, 2015 #27 Share Posted October 26, 2015 Heck prior to 1985 there were a lot more things that couldn't be sold on Sunday thanks to what is known as the Blue Law...housewares, pots, pans, certain items of clothing. That has eased up since 85 but there is also still a law against car dealerships being open both weekend days so most are closed on Sunday. File that away with more useless information about Texas ! 39august Posted October 26, 2015 #28 Share Posted October 26, 2015 Still there this morning. Winds still over 35 mph which is about 32 knots. My guess is if the weather report is right, they should make it out around noon or a bit before.
