We will be on B2B cruises on Allure. This will be our 2nd and 3rd cruises on Allure. And we sailed on Oasis last year. Anyway, what are some "off the beaten path" things to do? We are doing the all access tour already. We are also planning on trying to find all the "Small Treasures". Thanks!

When we did a b2b on allure. Our room stewart suggested. We walk around check out the different suites. Between the two legs of our cruise. We did this the morning of disembarkment.

When everyone else was leaving and had to be out of their rooms. We roamed the hallways and checked out the suites. My favorite was the aqua suites even over the loft suites.

They let you do this? Can you walk around in the room or did you just stick your head in?

My little brother is in a wheelchair and I've always wanted to scout out the accessible rooms on the ship to see if bringing him on one would be feasible.

I've seen plenty of wheel chair bound people on my past cruises which makes me believe it is not an issue.

My parents were put in an accessible room by mistake once and from what I could see before they were moved, the bathrooms have showers with seats, and other ease of access/use amenities in-room. And of course there are elevators everywhere :)

On our Allure cruise we also walked around and checked out many of the suites. We weren't B2B but elected late departure on disembarkation day. They were very nice and welcomed us as they were cleaning the rooms. Of course. Because touring the room may "sell" us for our next cruise :)

Your timing has to be good and you have to be considerate of the crew members trying to their turn around duties done. On some ships once the last of the disembarking cruisers are gone they close the corridor doors.

Secret balcony at the aft of the 12th floor

Doughnuts in the morning on the Boardwalk.

Free arcade for a while on boarding day.

Aqua show rehearsals in the aqua theater.

Zip line lines are shortest at the beginning of the cruise.

Have fun!!!!!

I believe that balcony is gone now, converted to a suite. We used it a lot in 2013.

I would just check with the cabin attendant before walking into another cabin. They're usually working nearby. On Oasis last month, our cabin attendant actually suggested it.

Wipeout Café Pretzel Dogs during lunch on embarkation day (avoid WJ).

Boardwalk Hotdogs

MDR (seriously, seems to be a ghost town lately)

This may qualify as a still remaining secret. In 2011 the WOC wasn't open on embarkation day, but it was in 2013 and a few people advised me it was a not crowded for breakfast either.

Allure and Oasis are great for accessibility. My sister and I were in accessible cabins on both ships (she uses a scooter but requires an accessible bathroom. The newer the ship, generally the better the accessibility is. Accessible cabins are great for people in wheelchairs. They're big enough that there's plenty of room and the bathrooms are designed for people in wheelchairs (roll in showers with seats, grab bars, etc.) Everyone on the ship is very accommodating.
