Mark O Posted December 5, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 5, 2015 What happens if you have some remaining on board credit at the end of the cruise? Do you lose it if you don't spend it?

If it's non refundable (basically that given by the line for whatever reason) it's lost If it's refundable (bought yourself) it goes back to your Credit Card and they use the Non Refundable first. Caribbean Chris Posted December 5, 2015 #3 Share Posted December 5, 2015 (edited) Some of your OBC also may be refundable if your travel agent paid for it. On our past Celebrity cruises, on the stateroom TV, we could check our accounts and see credits (may take a day or two) and they were coded with initials as NonRefundable or Refundable. As said above, Celebrity will use the non-ref. OBC first. When we had refundable OBC left over, we stopped by the front desk the last day to confirm they would credit it to our credit card. No problem, and it was done very quickly. Edited December 5, 2015 by Caribbean Chris

True but, go to the Casino and request a cash payout. They will charge you 5% but you can get the majority of the OBC money no matter if it was a gift or perk! I read on another thread that with non-refundable Celebrity OBC, the casino would no longer give you cash and charge you 5%. Don't know if this is true or not or if it varies from ship to ship.
