That road to the beach is quite scary. The mini bus we were in had open sides with bench seats across. No seat belts either back then.

 

When on holiday it's easy to let your guard down and think nothing can happen. So sad.

Doesn't make it any easier for all concerned but this happened on June 12th according to report. I think though that it brings safety to the front of the mind, especially for those who arrange their own transport rather than paying extra for trips organised by P&O whose local agents know the reputation of local coach companies and presumably only pick those who fulfil all safety requirements.

It would appear that this was a normal bus involved in the accident and not one of the open sided "Safari Style".

R.I.P to the deceased and a quick and speedy recovery to those injured.
