Tipping at AI resorts

We are visiting Mr. Sanchos for the first time when we visit Coz this time..we wanted to do something different. Do you wait until the END to tip your waiters and tip big or do you do smaller tips as you go? I just don't want to be considered a crappy tipper because I don't know the rules ;) So thanks in advance for your help!

We tip at the end of the day - 15-20% of the admission fee if the service is up to its typical great standards.

We went to Nachi Cocom a few weeks ago and tipped $25 at the end of our stay and found food and service to be very good.

We just got back last Saturday from Mr. Sanchos. This was our first trip there and must say it is everything and more of what we had read. The food was really good for an all-inclusive and served to and fresh very quickly. The drink were very plentiful and service was awesome whether we were in the ocean or pool area. We left a $30/tip for the two of us just because we had such an awesome time and felt our server "Julio" deserved it. Also there were only 3 ships in port our day there so it wasn't overly crowded which isn't always the norm. But for service from about 11:00-4:00 we thought it was well worth the money & tip! We definitely will be going back again. Mr. Sanchos is far superior than Passion Island.

We went to Mr. Sancho PAYGO side in Jan 2014 and when our waiter brought our first round of drinks I offered to pay and tip him then, he declined and said we would settle up before we left. After the second round of the same drink he just started showing up with a drink already prepared. No matter where we went on the property (his name has faded to memory) he always showed up with a smile and drink. He took excellent care of us and we took excellent care of him. Next visit we will go to the AI side.
