Ncl Jade is back in northern Europe in summer 2017

The Jade calling in Amsterdam is nice, if they would allow embarkation there.. Schiphol Amsterdam airport is a major hub close to Hamburg otherwise. The Jade will have a turnaround in Southampton but will also have a full German turnaround in Hamburg so the Hamburg cruises might be a better alternative airfare wise for some!

 

Where is the cruise port in Amsterdam? Close to the city?

 

I've never been to Amsterdam, so it's one that I'll be looking forward to.

PTA (Passenger Terminal Amsterdam) is within walking distance from the Centraal Station railway station, which is the heart of the city and canals.

 

No transport needed if you enjoy a short walk!

You will enjoy Amsterdam! :) Be sure to do a canal tour in one of smaller and open boats for the best views as the closed ones offer a more limited view. The smaller boats give a better overall experience with more personal guidance, more variety in routes and less time consuming with waiting times/(dis)embarking.
