I'm traveling on the Jewel in 2 weeks, a last minute decision. Traveling with cruise friends since 2003 and it will be a blast. They are married and I'm now single and would like to know if there are any venues or get togethers for a person in their fifties? ThNks for replies. Happy cruising

Check the Cruise Compass (daily schedule) for singles events. Also check the Community Calendar (usually near Guest Services) for more singles get togethers.

They didn't really have anything when I was on her last December. A couple of solo traveller events, but nothing else.

Use Traditional dining...a large table, so you'll have folks to talk to at dinner. Be open to conversation anywhere....

 

There really are no "meet up" things for solo travelers...you have to make friends on your own.

Join the roll call for your cruise and sign up for the meet n mingle. There are a couple singles on your sailing that may have information on get togethers. I will also be on your cruise .

Thank you for the replies. I am traveling with 3 couples so we will be together at dinner. NCL has a fantastic singles meet and mingle and I was hoping RCCL had something similar. I'm new to this game.
