RCI and Celebrity Status Matching

Can anyone elaborate on the status matching RCI has with Celebrity? I'm platinum C&A member at the moment, but will be moving to Emerald after my upcoming cruise.

 

I've already booked another cruise. With the double points in junior suite, it will take me to Diamond status. This is when I want to book a cruise with Celebrity as I have not cruised with them before.

 

What benefits do I get with Celebrity that's equivalent to Emerald and Diamond?

Platinum and Emerald will become Select in Celebrity's Captains club.

 

Diamond snd above will become Elite on Celebrity.

No, Royal's status match with Celebrity only goes up to Elite.

I think I know the answer, but the points earned on C&A don't carry over to Celebrity, correct? Only the status is matched.

I think I understand your question(?). I received a status match for platinum but I need to earn the full points on celebrity to upgrade to the next level. Will likely reach diamond before that happens, so hoping to get upgraded then.

Correct, no points carry over, just a limited status match.
