And offered an upgrade from a OV to a Grand Suite on my Imagination cruise next week for $250 total for the 4 of us. I took it. Looking forward to sitting on my balcony next week while in Ensenada.

My daughter was offered an upsell from a balcony guarantee to a vista suite for $25pp, she took it:D

Her friends were also offered the same deal!

She embarked on legend on Wednesday the upsell came about 10 days before

Unfortunately ours was not such an awesome deal but a deal for us nevertheless.

OV, aft with Pullman for one of us to a Grand Suite midship. $500, but we are splitting with our 3rd traveler so we took it.

I am glad we took it as she is a first time cruiser.

Maybe I should have bargained.

Do you think the Zika warning has anything to do with this? Loss of revenue?

I would probably not pay more than $50 to upgrade from interior to ov/balcony. I just do not spend any time in my cabin except to sleep and change clothes, and I prefer having the darkest environment possible to sleep.

I enjoyed it thoroughly. The kids loved having a balcony and it was good to see how they would do with one, since we have a cove on Vista next year. Room was huge and the balcony was bigger than I'm used to as well.
