We will be on board Pride of America on Fat Tuesday (day before Ash Wednesday) and wondering if they will be doing anything special in honor of the day?

Probably not . All the crew is American and they probably don't celebrate Fat Tuesday. That is more a European tradition (Catholic as well).

Being a Pom know all about Ash Wednesday and Maundy Thursday have never heard of Fat Tuesday!!

Donut day or fashnaut day!! Who says we Americans don't celebrate Fat Tuesday. So if nothing special is done, just eat lots of donuts at breakfast! But really, you are on a cruise so everyday will be a fat day with all the food available! LOL!
