What night is lobster night on Reflection?

We have a 5 night dining package, what other night should we go to main dining?

you might want to consider the ultimate dining package as it is only $29 per day not much more then the 5 night package and you almost get everything

Whatever kind of alleged lobster they serve, I can guarantee that it is not of the species Homarus americanus. Doesn't taste like it either. IMHO, not worth looking forward to it.

DON

........even the waiter's in Murano advise against ordering it, 50:50 if it will be good.

We have done the ultimate dinning pkg the last two cruises. It is a great deal ( well I think so ) we have friends who won't pay extra for food and we go without them. The ultimate package isn't advertised and where if so I can't find it. Did you book it on the ship or before? I fear that there won't be times available when we board.

We thought about the dining $29 a day package, but you can only book on board and it is touch and go. We wanted it booked before we left and it is a good discount to book ahead.

So we are eating dinner 2 nights in main dining and we are trying to figure which two nights because as we board we will book all other dining.

That's modern luxury at its best.

In fairness to Celebrity, they have not changed their lobster tails as part of the cost reductions...they have always been warm water lobster tails and at one point they weren't even serving each person a whole lobster tail...it was 1/2 or maybe 1/3 mixed with other seafood. Now they have returned to the dry, overcooked whole tails with warm butter to help moisten them.

Having said that, I don't order the lobster on the ship...even in Murano which is the same tail cooked with a much better sauce. If I want a lobster, I go to my local fish guy or supermarket, buy a live one and just steam or boil it at home. Far, far better than the lobster you get on Celebrity.

I agree but there not serving any better lobster on NCL either which is now my cruise line of choise. I don't think any of the mass market are either but Celebrity is the one telling you there the one premium mass market line which is BS..

Normally a tough lobster is because it's been over cooked not the region it came from. Most people agree that cold water lobster taste better than warm water lobster. There is a casino near Reno, NV that has an all you can eat lobster night on Fridays & Saturdays. They purposely over cook their lobster so people only eat one or two. If you get a tough lobster send it back.
