Just saw this pop up on the site. Through Feb 14th. I booked this morning and paid in full. Saw this promo tonight and called them. They canceled my cruise and re booked it with the extra $100 casino credit. In addition to 3rd and 4th passengers free and free drink package. Made my night!:D

I was under the impression that this was per stateroom, although it does not really say that anywhere. On my vacation summary it says (limit one per person) qty = 2. There are 2 adults in the room.. Could it be $100 casino credit for each of us?

I just rebooked our cruise and snagged this promo on top of UDP and SDP. Woo Hoo! The casino credit says the same as yours. Interested to hear how things work.

Cool, thank you! I couldn't find this anywhere. Have never delt with Norwegian until today though.

I just checked the website and the pick 2 promo is no longer offered. How were you able to keep both of your previous promos? We also have the UBP & SDP. And were you able to keep your same cabin when you rebooked?

Thanks for the help!

Happy Sailing!!

Pick 2 is still applicable for the mini suite cabins, booked 30 days in advance...with the exception of the Breakaway / Getaway and Escape which can be booked less than 30 days out.

I booked a mini guarantee and initially got 2 promos with cabin assigned last week. When I saw the casino promo at the same price, they rebooked us to "add" it on. With the rebooking, I'm now back to guarantee status and waiting on a room assignment. No biggie as we now have all 3 promos for the same price.

I called them yesterday to add the $100 casino credit. I still have a week before the penalty date. The rep said I would have to pay more. It doesn't make sense because the mini-suite rate I chose is still the exact same. So weird!

If you booked your cruise to pay in Canadian dollars then the extra cost now is because the exchange rate is different . You are paying a higher exchange rate now than when you booked.

I had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago when I tried to add the UBP to my 21 day cruise in November. My PCC at NCL told me I would have to pay an extra $200 on the exchange and also $700 for the 18% gratuity on the UBP. We declined to make the change. We are not big drinkers and an extra $1,000 was not worth it to us.

$700 for the 18%?? How is that possible? The 18% is $87 US...

Sorry to ask what may be a dumb question, but does anyone have an idea how this casino credit works? We've spent very little time in the casino during past cruises. We just booked today and we each received "Casino Chips/Tokens $50". Can we get our chips, leave, then come back in a day or two and just cash them in? Can we go and spend all $100 on a machine and cash in whatever is left after our losses?

Thanks for any insight.

Personally I would prefer the cost of the cruise to be $100 less and then I would have the choice to spend the $100 in the Casino if I wanted to.

Mike

Sure, everyone would, but that's not the offer. This offer is better for the cruise line, which is why they have it.

I booked it directly on NCL.com and was charged in USD.

In the past it works like a typical casino free play. It will be on your card (room key), download it in the chunks you want to play, I wouldn't advise you to download it all at once. Keep in mind that usually when you download to a machine you usually have to play it all in that machine, but you can cash out any winnings. I don't play table games so I can't comment from experience on that.
