Perks of booking while on a cruise

There are no more future cruise certificates. You get OBC and 2 friends and family certificates to be used for the same sailing that you book.

We are new to all this. We want to book a five day with our daughter. So we will get 50 obc? What are the certificates?

Cool Cruiser

Sorry I was thinking about Princess, wrong board.

I don't see any advantage to book a future cruise on Carnival or even Princess. Take advantage of any "cruise deals" that you receive in your email or at their website. On our future Canadian cruise we have a $850 OBC, something we would have never received if we booked on board. Keep the money in your pocket as long s you can.

Carnival will give you 2 certificates that friends and family can use. The certificates entitles them to get the same on board credit as you as long as they book the sames cruise as you and do the booking within 2 months of the issue date of the certificate.

How do you build up credit like that? Price drops?

There is a current promotion that gives you double OBC when booking a Balcony or Mini suite . If you have FCD you'l get an extra $100 per person depending on cruise lenghth and cabin type.

We have a Panama Canal cruise booked for next Sept (2016) . Our OBC is

$900 . It consists of $150 for the FCD and $300 for the current promotion.

This a person amount of $450 for a total of $900 . All in USD.
