Swimming on embarkation day

Hi,

 

We're sailing away on Voyager this weekend (yay!) and, given the gorgeous weather we're having in Sydney, the kids are going to want to get into the pool ASAP.

 

My question is - will the pool be available for swimming when we board?

Yes you can swim as soon as you get on board just pack swimmers and suntan lotion etc in small carry on luggage towels will be available by the pool

Yes, remember no Swim nappies allowed in case they are that young.

Kids are 11 & 12, so no nappies (thank goodness, that was always fun when travelling!)

 

I'll be sitting by the pool with a mojito in between finding our way around the ship.

That can happen quite often. It also depends on the regulations of the port as to whether they open the pools or not. If they are closed they will have a big net over them.

Sometimes they have to clean the pools due to accidents or seasickness.:eek:

So far on our cruises out of Sydney we have done just that!

 

Cocktail in hand/ kids in the pool!

 

Just pack make sure you pack a seperate carry on bag with what you need.

Voyager has two pools on the main deck, you will quite often find one closed on sea days but on embarkation they will be open. Have a fantastic time, the kids will have a blast.
