Rare Keith1010 Posted February 26, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 26, 2016 They do. Sometimes we laugh because it seems that in the end they don't do so much because sometimes when the ships are cool or warm it seems like it is out of our control. yj_eugene Posted February 26, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 26, 2016 Still cannot get the rooms cool enough sometimes. More than sometimes for us. We always turn it full cold as soon as we get to the room and leave it there the entire trip. We've rarely had a cabin where that was anything more than a good start. jagsfan Posted February 26, 2016 #9 Share Posted February 26, 2016 I have always noticed that before we actually sail our cabin is on the warm side. It used to worry me that I would be uncomfortable, but once we're at sea, I can get the temp on the chilly side, so I can sleep at night and DH can wrap himself in all the blankets. margeecruiser Posted February 26, 2016 #10 Share Posted February 26, 2016 I need the room very cool to sleep. I also do not have problems with my feet swelling if I can keep the cabin cool enough. I keep the curtains closed to the balcony when we are leaving the cabin, and that helps with radiant heating. I've always had problems except on the Legend on the Panama Canal cruise. I think it depends on cabin location in relation to air circulation vents. Sometimes our cabin steward can help. Margee
