Prepurchase or buy onboard

Is there a discount to buying the soda & more onboard the first day? I was not sure if it was less than the $8.05 per day if you order it before the cruise and it's waiting in your room. Thanks in advance -

If you have a lot of onboard credit...........it would be good to wait as no discount

There is no discount either way so it is all about whether you want to pre-pay it or put it on your folio. There will be ample opportunity to buy it on board the first day. They have tables set up by the entrances to the HC, Piazza etc and can sell any of the beverage packages. You do have to buy it the first day.

 

Princess did have a lesser expensive soda pop package that only covered fountain drinks. They abolished it this year in favor of the new package that includes mocktails for more $$$ of course.

 

Remember that just about all your OBC is not refundable and has to be spent on the current cruise. We never have had a problem with this but something to keep in mind before pre-ordering or pre-paying anything.

A small advantage if leaving out of Ft Lauderdale is that if you purchase it ahead of team, you won't have to pay sales tax on the package. If in port when you purchase it, you MIGHT have to pay it....pending when they process the transaction. 6% tax

Can you purchase the unlimited drink package for individual days? I don't want to spend all that money on a day we're in port and not even on the ship all day

No the package must be purchased for the entire length of the cruise.

Can you purchase it a few days into your cruise for the remainder of the cruise like you can on X? On X there must be at least 4 days remaining on the cruise to buy it.
