Alcohol with soda card

If my wife buys amaretto on board as well as a soda card-

will MDR make her a drink with ginger ale?

Is the btl purchased on board just for the cabin to enjoy?

Is it just easier to make the drink in our cabin and take it down to the MDR?

We do not drink enough to get the all inc. drink card at around $55pp/day and a btl wine will last 2 dinners for myself

any suggestions please

It would probably be best to make them in your cabin. ;)

I'm not at all sure what you're asking.

Are you wanting to know that if you buy a bottle of amaretto in the ship's store, can you use that amaretto for a drink? If that's the question, the answer is no. You won't get the bottle until your last night on board.

I did look in the gifts you can buy for your cabin and you can buy spirits to be delivered to your room. I did not see amaretto listed.

Sounds like you want to purchase a bottle of Amaretto and then take it to MDR and have them mix a drink. Not a chance in the world.

As others have said, you can't purchase a bottle on board for consumption on board. They will gladly sell you a bottle but won't let you have it until the last night so you can pack it to take with you in the morning when you leave.

Guest services offers several types of liquor for in-room purchase but they only come in 375ml bottles and Amaretto is not offered.

Amaretto is offered in the lounges and, like the other liqueurs, is less expensive than "regular" spirits. The version of the Princess Beverage Package Evaluator I have may not be the most recent version but it lists Amaretto at a cost of $5.75. I know that my wife was pleasantly surprised on our last cruise (Sept/Oct 2115) to find that Gran Marnier was sold at that same low price.
